Ghar, meaning home is the product of over four years of making images in my hometown of Kavi Nagar, India. My home was built by my late Nana Ji in the early 80’s. These images were taken on annual trips to Kavi Nagar, lasting two to three months. I often took images to break up the long monotonous days, and other times it was a way to make sense of my surroundings. Through this series I explore the neighbouring streets of J Block, as well as capturing the more intimate moments of my family that happen inside my home.
